On this Good Friday, we journey with Jesus, the SUFFERING Servant, in his passion and death. God sends His only begotten Son to enter into our SUFFERING so He may redeem it and bring new life. Our God shows the depth of His love by sending His Son to SUFFER and die for us. May our hearts remain open to God’s outpouring graces as we continue this journey of SUFFERING, death, and resurrection with Jesus our Lord during this Sacred Triduum.

We prepare to enter into Holy Week with the celebration of Palm Sunday also known as PASSION Sunday. One of the central mysteries of our Catholic faith is known as the Paschal Mystery which refers to the PASSION, death, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. We begin the celebration on Palm Sunday as we walk with Jesus in his PASSION. PASSION also speaks of God’s incredible love for us. May we enter fully these days of prayer and grow deeper in love for our God who has first loved us and redeemed us through the cross.
