🎶 “There is a LONGING in our hearts O Lord, for you to reveal yourself to us. There is a LONGING in our hearts for love, we only find in you our God.”🎵🎶

When I was child, I would write Santa with deep LONGING and desire for all the toys I wanted. As an adult, there is still a LONGING and a wish during this Holiday Season, but no longer of toys and games, but a deeper LONGING for joy, light, and peace in our world. I have a LONGING to build better relationships with all people as Children of God. In the Season of Advent we yearn and encounter the deep LONGING for a world renewed in grace. May our LONGING lead us to patiently wait for the coming of the Lord instead of falling in despair.
