Welcome to our blog.

Happy Thanksgiving! After the celebration of the Solemnity of Christ the King last Sunday, we begin a new liturgical year with the First Sunday of Advent this weekend, as we prepare for the RETURN of Jesus in his second coming. At the fullness of time, Christ will RETURN to fully establish God’s Kingdom here on earth as it is in heaven. While we prepare for this RETURN, we are called to make a RETURN daily to God and to walk in his ways. Our journey on earth is a RETURN to the loving arms of the Father and to remain in communion with Him. May God continue to bless us with the gift of focus as we prepare for the RETURN of the Messiah.

Jesus is our KING! This is a proclamation we will make as we gather this Sunday for the Solemnity of Christ the KING, the final Sunday of our liturgical year. As we come to the end of this cycle and begin a new one with the First Sunday of Advent, we are called to build a throne for Jesus our KING in our hearts so that he may always be the priority of our lives. We live in a world filled with many distractions and temptations. May we always stay focused on Jesus Christ the KING of our lives and the true KING of this world who will lead us to enter into his KINGdom of love, light and peace.

🎶 “AWAKE from your slumber, arise from your sleep🎵 a new day is dawning for all those who weep.”🎵🎶
As we come to the final weeks and days of our liturgical year, the Church invites us to be prepared and to stay AWAKE!  We are at times asleep at the wheel of our lives.  God invites us to live AWAKE, prepared to receive the Lord whenever he comes.  AWAKE means to have our hearts and eyes open focused on the Lord.  May we truly be AWAKE to the movements of God’s Holy Spirit within us so that we are conscious of God’s blessings that surround us.
