Our God is a God of RENEWAL. God desires to create a new heaven and a new earth with each of us. This work of RENEWAL begins in every human heart and continues to grow as we build God’s kingdom here on earth. This world is in desperate need of RENEWAL. There is such a deep yearning for justice and peace. Through the intercession of our Blessed Mother, the Immaculate Conception, may we be open to the grace that brings RENEWAL in our lives, which in turn then makes us instruments of RENEWAL for our world.

“Give thanks with a GRATEFUL heart!”

As we approach the beautiful celebration of Thanksgiving Day next week, may we truly be GRATEFUL for all of the blessings God has given us and all the graces He has bestowed upon us. I am truly GRATEFUL to all of you who help build our community of faith. You all are an incredible blessing to me. May we continue to cultivate the spirit of gratitude in our hearts that allows us to remain GRATEFUL and conscious of God’s blessings every single day.

Please come join us for our Thanksgiving Day Mass on Thursday November 23rd at 9 am, followed by our Thanksgiving Luncheon in Albert Hall from 11 am to 2pm.

Our Gospel this Sunday will recount the parable of the WISE and foolish virgins who await the bridegroom’s return to celebrate the Wedding Feast. This reading will call us to be WISE and truly prepare for the return of our Savior. Those who are foolish are distracted by so many things in this world. The disciples who are WISE, however, will be focused and are prepared. May we pray for the grace to be truly WISE that keeps our hearts and lives fixed on our Savior Jesus Christ.
