The banquet FEAST of heaven is what awaits us at the end of our journey here on earth. God prepares us for that FEAST by inviting us weekly to the table of the Lord in the Eucharist. We are invited guests to the FEAST of heaven now. As a response to God’s invitation, we are called to prepare to enter the FEAST fully ready to receive the nourishment God lavishly grants us as His children.

“Come to the FEAST of heaven and earth. Come to the table of plenty.”

As we receive the fulfillment of God’s grace in this FEAST, may we build that communion of God’s love with one another and the world.
