Welcome to our blog.

One of the greatest TREASURES and blessings we have in our Catholic faith is the gift that is the Eucharist. Our God of Love desires to be so united with us in communion, that He gives us this TREASURE on our journey of faith. As we gather for the Solemnity of Corpus Christi this Sunday, may we be grateful to God for the the TREASURE of his love and presence in the Eucharist. And may this TREASURE of God’s love grant us the grace to remain united to him especially in the most difficult moments of our journey.

We all have a unique VOCATION or calling in the Lord. Some are called to the single life, while others are called to the married VOCATION. Some others are called to the VOCATION of Priesthood or Religious Life. In every VOCATION, we are called to follow God faithfully and to live and love as Christ.

Please pray for the 8 men who will be ordained to the Priesthood tomorrow. May they live out their VOCATIONS faithfully in service of God and His people. Also, please welcome Sister Marita and the team from the Office of Women Religious of the Archdiocese to our community this weekend. They will be with us to share their beautiful VOCATION at each Mass.

“I am sending the promise of my Father upon you; but stay in the city until you are clothed with POWER from on high.” Luke 24:49

This coming Sunday, we will gather for the final Sunday of the Easter Season, the celebration of Pentecost Sunday. Fifty days after Easter, the Apostles received the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, the POWER of God’s love to proclaim Jesus Christ to all nations. We too have received this POWER first at our baptism and then again sealed into us on the day of our Confirmation. This POWER is the POWER of God’s love that makes all things new. As we prepare to gather for Pentecost Sunday, may we pray for a fresh outpouring of the POWER of God’s love so that we as new creations in the Lord, may renew this world in His love and mercy.
