Welcome to our blog.

God desires for us to live a FULL life. That FULL life can only be lived out when we are FULL of God’s love and grace. As we prepare for the Solemnity of Corpus Christi this Sunday, may we acknowledge our deep hunger for peace, justice, joy, and purpose which can only be satisfied in Christ. Our God gave us the Eucharist as the greatest treasure of our Catholic Faith so that we may have life, and have it to the FULL! Happy Early Father’s Day to all of our dads and father figures!

“The GLORY of God is man fully alive.” – St. Ireneaus

As Christian disciples, we are meant to live in God’s GLORY. Last weekend’s events of Fr. Cesar being ordained, the celebration of his first Mass, and the celebration of Confirmations with Bishop Alex were truly filled with God’s GLORY. I am grateful for all of your prayers for Fr. Cesar, our Confirmation Candidates, and our whole parish. May we continue to say YES to God’s plan allowing us to be truly alive in Christ and live in the GLORY of God!

A Message From Father Francis:

As we prepare for Pentecost Sunday, we pray: “Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful and KINDLE in them the fire of Thy love.”

The Holy Spirit truly needs to KINDLE in us God’s love so we can light the world.  The whole world is in desperate need of renewal. Our Lord desires to KINDLE and inspire us to be instruments of His grace to truly bring about the reality of God’s kingdom here on earth as it is in heaven.

Let us pray that God KINDLE and stir the hearts of all of our teens and adults preparing for confirmation this Pentecost Sunday as they are sealed with the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

And of course, let us continue to lift up Deacon Cesar who will be ordained a priest tomorrow at the Cathedral.  Please join us for his first Mass at 12 noon this Sunday. (No 11 am Mass this Sunday)  May God KINDLE in soon-to-be Fr. Cesar’s heart a fire and a passion for service to God’s people.
