As we enter the third week of Advent and celebrate “Gaudete Sunday,” the Sunday of rejoicing, I invite you to deep INTROSPECTION. Experiencing the dark and ugly chaos of the world, we each must take responsibility for the part we play. INTROSPECTION is reflection of our own personal faults, failings, and brokenness that bring darkness to the world. May our INTROSPECTION lead us to stay open to the healing light of Jesus Christ that makes us whole. As we prepare to enter the second week of Advent, I invite you to see God’s BEUATY all around us. Our world may be filled with so much chaos and negativity, but amidst the darkness, there is always BEAUTY that we can encounter. May we know how BEAUTIFULLY made we all are in God’s image. And in the places this week where we encounter the ugly of the world, let us pray that God’s BEAUTY shine and make us and the world whole.
