Lord, send out your Spirit and renew the face of the earth! As we gather for Pentecost Sunday, may we keep our hearts open to receive a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit’s presence and gifts that allow us to be on fire to preach the good news of God’s love and mercy for the world.

Señor, envía tu Espíritu y renueva la faz de la tierra. Al reunirnos para el domingo de Pentecostés, mantengamos nuestros corazones abiertos para recibir un nuevo derramamiento de la presencia y los dones del Espíritu Santo. Que nos permitan estar en llamas para predicar las buenas nuevas del amor y la misericordia de Dios para el mundo.

Let us prepare for the OUTPOURING of God’s Holy Spirit as we gather for the celebration of Pentecost. God desires to give us a fresh OUTPOURING of the Holy Spirit’s gifts so that we may continue to live in the fire of God’s love. Please pray for our teens and adults especially who will receive the sacrament of confirmation on Pentecost Sunday. May they receive an OUTPOURING of God’s manifold blessings to fulfill the mission of sharing the good news to the world.
